THE ARTS SOCIETY HIGH WYCOMBE

Welcome to The Arts Society High Wycombe

(Previously High Wycombe Decorative and Fine Arts Society)

We have a wide range of lectures from October to July on the second Monday of the month starting at 10.45am, with coffee being served from 10am. The lectures are held at The Hub, Easton Street, in High Wycombe. Please note, that whilst the Memorial Hall is on the first floor, there is a lift in the building.

Details of our lecture programme for  2019/2020 are included on this site. We think you will find that we have selected a stimulating range of subjects for the lectures, plus interesting and informative Special Interest Days , as well as some exciting Day Trips.

There are other areas that members can get involved.  In our four years in operation we have completed three very successful Young Arts projects and have one project in hand at the moment with Wycombe Museum, to bring art education to local school children. We also have  an enthusiastic band of members  working hard on a Church Recording project at St Botolph’s, Bradenham.

We do have a waiting list and if you join that list you are able to attend three lectures in any programme year but we have to insist that you book a place.  To do so please email our Membership Secretary, Gill Lawrence, gillmlaw@icloud.com, or  telephone 01494 531911.
